# Roll for Isekai | How to Play

Windows 64-bit; keyboard and mouse. Chinese and English interfaces are available. Use the language button on the title screen to switch; a non-Chinese system language selects English by default.

Start: Extract the entire archive. Keep AITrpg.exe, AITrpg.pck and libterrain.windows.release.x86_64.dll in the same folder. Double-click AITrpg.exe and choose New Game (“新游戏” in Chinese).

Controls:
- Left-click ground to move, objects to interact, or enemies to attack. Distant targets are approached first.
- Right-click an object to choose an action; hover for names and hints.
- WASD pans the camera; Q/E rotates; the wheel zooms; Home follows the preferred party member.
- I toggles inventory. Right-click an inventory item to equip or use it.
- Space pauses/resumes. While paused, left-click a companion, then click an enemy or use its context menu to give an order.
- L toggles the combat log. X stops only the protagonist's cancellable action, not companions.
- Esc or the top-left menu pauses the world. Use Save and Load (“保存与读取” in Chinese) to save.

Suggested route:
1. Enter through the west entrance. The roadside chest contains leather armor.
2. Open your inventory and put on the leather armor.
3. Follow the street to the square and buy something at the stalls.
4. Talk to the townspeople and invite your friend Bela into the party.
5. Lead the party out through the west entrance, cross the bridge and find the goblins on the road.
6. Press Space to pause, select a companion and give an order, then resume.
7. Return to town, open the menu and save your progress.

You start with a shortsword and buckler equipped; the chest adds leather armor. Bela stands beside the road from the starting point to the square, holding a shortsword. Invitations require an existing friend, family or partner relationship; not every resident can join.

Attacks are resolved by dice rolls. The protagonist currently has a 45% hit chance, so consecutive misses are normal, not a control failure. Press L to inspect the combat log.

Known limitations: Movement can still slide slightly. Archery has no matching animation, and there are no footstep sounds. Quests, a complete story and automatic-save triggers are absent. Save manually before fighting. Combat saves require a pause, and arrows in flight prevent saving. Returning to town is a suggested route, not a save-location restriction. Press L if the log overlaps another panel.
